If the coverage is comprehensive enough, then you will have to just have a supplement to it with a small dental insurance policy. As an alternative to dental insurance, you might want to consider discount dental plans. For about the same price as one monthly payment on a traditional dental insurance policy, you could pay for an entire year on a discount dental plan. It will be up to you to decide which would be best for your situation. It really depends on how much dental work you anticipate that you will need.
